New guy from VA

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum. I'm here to find interesting treasures, and other stuff too. If may start off by asking, where should I start? I don't have a metal detector, but I can always search local thrift shops. What should I look out for?

You can pan for gold, detect for civil war artifacts - there are a lot of ways to find interesting things. Browse the forums, there are categories for just about any type of treasure hunting you wish to do.
