Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum. I'm here to find interesting treasures, and other stuff too. If may start off by asking, where should I start? I don't have a metal detector, but I can always search local thrift shops. What should I look out for?

Welcome to the forum! You can start anywhere, thrift shops, garage and yard sales, flea markets. You can buy rolls of coins and look for silver. You can pan for gold, detect for civil war artifacts - there are a lot of ways to find interesting things. Browse the forums, there are categories for just about any type of treasure hunting you wish to do.
