Why not series 2013? It seems every tie they make a change the year changes,. so why not this time? Why not show these as 2013 series??

Yeah, ebay's flooded with thmn now. Only unique ones are star note and early postmarked. Good job selling that lot fast Omega!

How do the "star" notes fit in??

Star notes are issued when the original note became damaged in printing, and had to be destroyed before it was issued. Printing a new note with the same serial number would be hard to do because the machine that puts the serial numbers on the notes would have to manually be set to the correct serial number. That would be hard, considering an error note could appear at random serial numbers.

Double post, I know, but this is a completely different topic.

I went on a little bit of a "new hundred road trip" stopped at 13 banks with $2100, I think 6 of them had the new hundreds. Got a couple of interesting serial numbers, at one bank I got LL87887187A, LL87887188A, and LL87887189A. It's really too bad that 1 wasn't an 8 or a 7, then the bills would have only had two numbers in them, making them worth more. I suppose I could still get a bit more for LL87887187A, and LL87887188A, but not LL87887189A because it has a 9. Also got some fairly low serial numbers, LH00980904A, LH00980905A, LH00980906A, LH00980907A, LH00980908A, and LH00980909A. It's also too bad I didn't get LH00980980A, that would have been a reapeater worth some mroe moeny. I'll keep the special ones and take the rest back the bank I guess.
