Well I got out on the new leased property for a bit today. Was riding 4wheeler around looking for the tale tale sign of an old house site in the plowed fields.well I found a spot where I was seeing old clay plate parts an bricks so I got off an swiped for bout 30 minutes. Was headed back to the wheeler only having found a coin button an i got a good signal. Down about an inch under I saw the silver in the clod! Jackpot! An 1840 o seated liberty. So needless to say as soon as I can I'm going back!

Congratz on an awesome coin!

Nice! Awesome find. You got it dialed man, I look for broken dishes, glass, etc... and these are usually good spots for me too. 2 (damaged) pocket watches from -1903, & my only IH penny & lots of cool relics have come from these same broken glass bottles/dishes areas.

Think I saved it just in time! Ha.

That's an awesome way to end the hunt. Gotta be more around there. Good luck

I hope so. I'm going every chance I get now.

Great find! Looks like you zingoed it with your digger but hey, we've all done it! Cheers and congrats

Nice silver score! Congrats!

I actually didn't hit it. My workers disked up few days before, an i know it hit it. When I dug it up it was in middle of the plug, and that was the only part that was shiny. Was solid black when I found it. Put it on my polish cloth just to see what it was.

Nice silver find!

Thanks. As you can see the fertilizer has done a number on it the last few score. Farming is rough on relics, but hey some ones gotta do it.
