First off, a big Thank You to Mike at Woodland Detectors for giving me a great price on the new T2 SE and it was at my doorstep the day after I ordered it. I have been seeing the results of this new machine and getting some great input from some of the great detectorists on this site and decided to get it. I am not replacing my Minelab SE, just utilizing the new one in heavy iron areas. I actually hit this site recently so that I would be sure of the results of the new machine and it sure did prove itself in the iron. I dug quite a few targets, some iron, just trying to get a feel for the sounds. In the middle of the iron patch, I dug two braided hair large cents (40, 52) and a no-date Classic head large cent. Definitely missed these with the other machine. I was using the larger coil and anticipate more good finds when I go back over it with the small coil. My only difficulties last evening was dealing with the chatter since there was electric poles nearby and I didn't dig the usual buttons and such that I normally dig. I believe the small coil will change that. Anyway, you might want to give some thought into this machine. Hopefully I will have more to post by the end of the weekend! Good luck, be safe!

ahh the beautiful T2. Isn't it awesome going back to old sites and picking up things other machines wouldn't pick up?

Those are some nice looking large cents, congrats :icon_thumright: The T2 was the next machine i was looking into getting. I have a Ace 250 now and want to upgrade, so the T2 does a good job discrimating from the nails and little bits of iron? With the 250 in coin mode it will give me a good signal and ill dig it and its a nail or little iron bit :BangHead: I want a machine that can tell between a coin or trash.

Great finds! I actually just bought a T2 from Mike myself. suppose to get here monday. cant wait! :icon_thumright:

I'm not overly experienced with this machine yet to give you the best advice. As in any machine, you really have to "listen" to what the machine is telling you. Sometimes the quality of the sound you are hearing and how consistent your numbers stay the same is all you need to master to dig better targets. For the money, this is a great machine. Good luck
