New MD'ers in Mass ...

Greetings all ... Quack here.
Back into MD'ing after a long hiatus. My brother and I just got back into it after at least 20+ years.
He's swinging a DFX ... which we have yet to learn after a couple of months ... but, working at it.
I'm leaning toward a Garrett AT Pro in the very near future.

Meanwhile we've had some decent finds here in w. Mass. the past month ... including a silver colonial bracelet tucked into the outside of a very old stone foundation ... a pocket watch ... and a 1774 silver 1 Reale ... and assorted musket balls, minie balls, buckles and other as yet to be identified objects ...

All of which we associate to luck ... but hey ... we'll take it !

Hoping to pick up tips and pointers and to share future finds ... if I can figure out how to post pictures !

Welcome aboard! Take a look at Sub-Forums: Massachusetts for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state.

Welcome back to hunting and welcome to the forum!

Welcome from florida.

Thanks for the welcome all ... looking forward to any thaws for the next few months ... ! HMMmmmm ... maybe beach time soon ...
Any thoughts out there re: the Garrett AT Pro ... ?

Q.

Welcome to Treasurenet! The Garrett AT Pro is a great machine for relics and water hunting. It likes coins and jewelry, and hits bullets hard. Can have a little chatter on some mineralized beaches, but the better targets ring through.
