Hi! Merry Christmas and happy new year from Poland! I live in Warsaw / Poland and I usually detect on fields in search of coins. Last year I took a part in an international search for a exact location of one of the biggest battles of middle ages between Polish-Lithuanian and Teutonic Knights - Battle of Grunwald AD 1410. We failed to locate it but will try again this year.
My usual finds are 1800-1900 Russian and polish coins with some middle ages silvers and rare instances of roman coins. Of course, almost every forest and all metal detecting will produce world wars artifacts - some of it still very dangerous.
January/February I'm planning going on round the world metal detecting trip hopefully meeting some of you!
Cheers!
