New member from Idaho

I found this forum while looking at videos about metal detecting on u tube. I tried metal detecting when I was young. I asked my grandfather for a metal detector that he had. I took it home and started to look for things in our yard. We lived in a house from the turn of the century. I don't rember what I found probally just scrap metal and some pennies. I didn't do much after that. I would like to get back out detecting again. I think it would be fun for the family to do it together. Does anyone know about the laws on metal detecting, especially in Idaho. I look forward to posting my finds when i can get out in better weather to get some.
