Hello and Merry Christmas from Kansas

I am knew to the sight and to MD. I just wanted to say hi and Merry Christmas.
I have played around with detectors from time to time, but never seemed to have the extra money to buy one for myself. My wife purchased one for me for Christmas so I am finally going to get to get a little more serious about detecting.
The detector is on the way and should be here next week. Looking forward for it to arrive. It is a Fisher F5.
