Hello All,
My name is Bill and I live in Suffolk County. I used to go metal detecting with my father when I was a kid and since my Mom died, my dad has been looking for things to do. He recently decided to get back into it and showed up at my house with 2 Whites Spectra V3i's. Actually, that was his intention. He actually showed up with a V3i (his) and a refurbished V3 (mine) lol. I'm considering sending it in for the software upgrade. Anyhow, we still have a lot to learn with these new machines. In just a 2 hour search we pulled out 5 Revolutionary War era buttons, a few silver dimes, and a bit of more modern pocket change in small local parks. I live on an acre and a half of old farm land and I back up to a state park consisting of hundreds of wooded acres. The town I live goes way back to the Revolution so I have very local places to search. Ill share our findings here.
