New member in New York City!

Hello everyone, just wanted to introduce myself. I know very little about treasure hunting but after a recent vacation to Cape Cod, I want to get into the hobby. I'd really love to scuba dive shipwrecks and maybe even find some treasure!
Are there any other treasure hunters in the NYC area?
Any tips of where to start this hobby?
