New Mexico - Small Point Found

I found this in an area where there are native petroglyphs - would appreciate unbiased opinions since I know it's natural to want it to be a point, so the one who finds it tends to think that way. It does look worked all over, however it's also very small. What would be the point (pun intended) of a point that's only 3/4 inch long? Also found pottery shards in the area.

There are lots of points that are smaller than 3/4
inch in length (bird points) Your find may be
unfinished , or perhaps a tiny scraper ?
