To all who may be on the fence about purchasing the Minelab Equinox 15”x12” Coil because of added weight, I wanted to say that I find it very lightweight and easy to swing.
I’ve had shoulder surgery in both shoulders so weight was a concern of mine and I’m having zero issues swinging it.
Best of luck out there and Merry Christmas!

Yep, it only adds 5oz of weight over the stock 11" coil.

it's just a matter of time on my shoulder surgery, am in process of getting it possibly done. so info kind of helps. thanks

The Equinox is so lightweight it’s really a blessing for my shoulders. It’s the scoop I wish I could bungee.
Best of luck with the shoulder surgery if you decide to go ahead dirtlooter.

if it is a problem, I recommend a $30 swing harness.

I use detector pro swing harness with 800 stock coil. My 15 x 12" coil arrived today. Will use swing harness on it also. of course my 6" coil is like swining a stick.
