This is not really a today's find but since I just got these back I wanted to post the finished product. While in Korea ,myself and hikenmtns went on a hunt through a Korean mountain range and found an old rest area of sorts. He knew what to look for and when he said OK lets hunt here I had no Idea why.
Well after about a minute I dug my first Korean coin and they kept coming. Hikenmtns and myself dug 31 old coins in about 4 hours. He took all the coins ,researched ,cleaned and id ed them and a couple of days ago I got a package in the mail and there was the coins! Our deal was that we were going to split them 50/50 but he sent them all to me ready for display!
They look awesome and range form 1679-1943 Korean,Chinese and Japanese. I was blown away. Bill is a top notch guy. :notworthy:

Welcome to treasurenet Chug and red!!!!!! Love your dads posts and cant wait to some of yours!!!!

Well, as you can see, I haven't been able to get on in a while. Through the ups and downs of health problems I've been relocated to FT Gordon, Georgia. I expect to be here for at least a few years and am looking forward to getting out as much as possible. I hope to be able to get in one more assignment to Korea before I retire, but we'll play that one by ear. I still talk to my Dad and look forward to his stories about the hunts I'm missing.

Cool post and nice finds Bman! I figured Hikenmtns was a good guy and is nice you met his son as well. HH, Mike
