Jim in Shreveport La. Longtime hobby hunter. 2-3 times a year. I lost my beloved Tammy to cancer earlier this year and took early retirement to really get into the things we liked. Golf, camping, fishing, MD?in and a few other hobbies. I use a Ace 250 and T used a Delta 4000. Been on a few yard hunts lately to get back in the groove. I?m surrounded by hundreds of miles of bayous so I?m researching a couple old ferry crossing sites for fall hunts. The temperature is brutal this time of year here in the Deep South. Joined the forum to keep my interest up. I?v Got a few cool stories and interesting finds I?ll share once I learn where they go on the site. Hope to fit in and hang around.

Get to learn one machine at a time..., and do it often!
Guess, THEN dig it up, to see if you were right...!
I recommend the Ace 250
to learn pinpointing and dig techniques....
THEN, master the the Tecnetics Delta 4000.
My digging friend used to use the Delta 4000, and he did pretty good, so.......
you decide....each will try to help you decide, so ease of viewing the screen,
weight, tones, etc...!
Get a separate pinpointer, too - they save time getting to your target.
Most of us use one....
