New Orlean's gator

Had some digging time today,hit two different spots. The New Orlean's gator pin came from the 1860's college. That was the only keeper from that spot,out of a ton of junk. Had permission at an 1860's farmhouse,hit that for a couple hours. Came away with the 91 Indian,the no date buffalo,the rivet? has a star on it? and the cool tie clip or cuff link,whatever it is. If any one has any info on the gator pin or the other item,I would appreciate it. I am also posting in the "what is it" forum.
