Thats right, I have never dug 10 matchbox cars out of one yard before ! The house was not old by hobby standards. It was built in 1958. Thought I might pick up a newer silver, but it wasnt meant to be. Had to do the yard before the owner puts it up for sale next month. 10 Matchbox cars, 49 clad coins and 14 pieces of trash. 73 targets is an awful lot for one yard. Anybody want to buy a used car ? !

I enjoy finding those toys, it breaks up the day and adds to the collection - and I'm thinking someday I'll find a child to give them to.

So far in my modern hunt era I've found:

4 cars
1 passenger train car
1 Bigfoot truck
1 train engine with that happy face on the front - like NOT my generation
1 dinosaur
1 shark

Maybe they'll make a little child happy some day. I don't play with them things anymore, after all - I'm an OOLLLDDDD man

Thanks ATW. I was thinking they would have been real nice if they were Tootsie Toys. Those are some nice cars to dig.
