New phone, pictures from the lake.

Well I'm broke now, I have to survive on fish It was such a beautiful night. I met the family up at Bison Reservoir on their way home from school. Its a private lake on the backside of Pikes Peak colorado. Had a fire and roasted some marshmallows. Happy Fall

My boys grew up fishing here. There is an old cabin in the far corner that's delapidated, and an old logging camp and various gold diggings around. Its so nice hardly anyone ever here. Lots to explore. Had a pig roast a few weeks ago with the family. Hope you get out to see the colors.

I once read in one of those old Lost Treasure magazines that the loggers who cut all the thousands mine props needed in the mining boom days, didn't partake in any of the rowdy ways of the miners who blew ever dime they had on drinking and women. The articular mentioned the loggers pretty much stayed in the camp and would exchange their earning in the form of 5 and 10 gold coins as their savings to which they would stash away in a hiding place in the logging camp. That phone takes really good pictures.

Amen! I really pity people that can't get out in nature or have yet to realize just what an amazing thing we have all been given to enjoy.

Time goes so fast. Lake closes end of Oct. Lots of fish to be caught still. Its funny how caught up in life you get, until you relax a little. Hope you get out and fish a little
