Nice bugle insignia, am I correct in thinking there was only one bugler in each regiment. Wow what a find, I'm in CT and other than a few camps to hunt, its going to be hard to find that kind of history. I am amazed at what comes out of the ground everyday.

the bugle insignia is a device worn on top of the kepi hat and signifies 'infantry' (where as for example, the crossed swords were cavalry and crossed cannons were artillery)

beautiful display of awesome relics!
