New Site Finds = Toys, Wheats, Relics, Keys, Ammo, Silver, Cool Fob?

Hello All. Dug my new site a 1920's house near Clermont, FL for the 2nd time and found many numerous items of interest. It was a great hunt...cool digs just kept poppin'.

I think it is safe to say there were some kids playing in the yard...found several cap gun pieces, part of a lead soldier, Tootsie toys, and a cool little train engine and tender. I love diggin' yards frequented by young'uns cuz they never put their $#!+ away...right on!


I always dig diggin' relics, Wheaties, and silver but to me the find of the day was the Illinois state seal piece. Still researching this thing, see link for some interesting history on the Illinois state seal.

Check it out, on mine the word "Sovereignty" is upside down so I know it is post 1868 but I cannot determine if it is a watch fob or medal or precisely how old it is.

I enjoy finding old shotgun shell heads along with everything else. Your UMC NEW CLUB is circa 1895-1902. Your REM-UMC SHURSHOT is a little later between 1926-1930s.

CAMBRIA DANG NICE SANTA FE TRAIN AND THAT GOES FOR EVERTHING ELSE YOU HAVE. LIKE THE 48 CHEVY PANEL TRUCK AND THE JEEP.
