There was an old frame house that was torn down on a lot a couple of houses down the street from me. It has not been lived in for many years and dates back to the 1940s. I got an OK to detect it and swept a small part of it yesterday. Around the house there was a huge amount of Junk. So much my 6X10 coil had trouble searching through all of it. I am going back with my 4X6 coil and do the area over. The lot is huge and is not to bad away from where the house is. In about 2 hours I found some clad and what is in the photo. I think the place has promise many of my digs were deep but some of it was trash.This property sits right on the other side of an old Stagecoach inn. My house sets on the other side of the Inn. I have found Civil War and Indian relics in my yard. I believe there is more on the new site
