New guy to the forum. Wanted to say hello !

Bought the Garrett Ace 250. Could not be more pleased with the light weight and easy to use controls. Kellyco was great to work with. I have since ordered the 9X12 and ProPointer.

Just wanted to share our finds since 6-7-2010. My wife has really picked up this hobby and it has been a blast to share with her. She is swinging the Teknetiks Delta 4000.

Welcome to you!

You're going to find an awful lot of 250 users on this forum who love that detector. I've never used one myself, but if you have any questions, you might just type in "250" in the SEARCH box and find a laundry list of discussion topics about your machine.

One tip I saw on YouTube: some people are mounting the coil backwards on the machine for pinpointing purposes. Once you have the target, you slowly back the coil away until it stops, and there on the north tip should be your target. Check it out.
