live in the lafayette ,la area looking for any one with info on places to hunt or clubs in area.looking for any one to hunt with in the area too.

There is an old railroad that runs north and west of Opelosas and can bee seen on google earth. Should be a good location if one could find the old outpost. A map of the railroad can be found on the libary of congress website.

research the area there in the Atchafalaya basin, I seem to remember hearing about long abandoned logging towns out there, but I can't seem to find the reference right now. Old churches and schools are a good place to start though.
