New to metal detecting

Hello out there, my name is Tim and I am new to metal detecting. I have been looking at getting into the hobby now for some time and am looking at getting a Garrett Ace 350 for my first detector. I live in Minnesota so it would be cool to see if there is anyone else from MN. Happy hunting
