new to the hobby looking forward to starting. Just need the snow to go away!!! Looking foreword to my first time out. Been on YouTube all winter!! Any tips or tricks?

I see you got the Ace 250. Only tip I can give you is to dig everything up. That detector has a hard time telling you whats under the ground. Good luck and have some fun.

Welcome. I feel your pain on wanting the snow to melt so you can get out detecting. The ground is still bound to be frozen a few inches down and can be very difficult to dig targets. It is also a lot harder to dig clean plugs and replace them like you were never there.

This hobby can be addictive! When you are able to I'd recommend getting a pro-pointer, if you don't already have one, it will help reduce your recovery time on most finds. HH
