new to the site

Hey, i am new to the site and just starting metal detecting. I have done some gold panning and used to enjoy bottle digging as a kid. My goal is to start relic hunting the many old cellar holes and homestead sites around where i live and find some cool stuff.

Welcome to Tnet. You're lucky being in Vermont with a lot of old history and a lot of old coins and relics in the ground for you to find. Did you know they made coins in Vermont in the 1780's. Stella Quarta Decima - the fourteenth state. Maybe you'll find some. Good luck.
