New to this site first post!

[crueheadus]

Hi. I am new to this site and new to detecting. I went up to my family's cabin this weekend and went swinging. Found alot of junk(nails ,bolts,ect...) some memorial pennies, bullets, casings, LIVE SHELLS(pulled the bullet and dumped powder), hog rings and more junk. Had alot of fun diggin' with my family. Hope to find more and maybe better stuff in the future.

Welcome aboard! You'll find this forum to be full of great and helpful folks. They have all the answers to any questions. Good looking first hunt! Whoever lost all that iron had to have lost some goodies also. Just keep following the beeps and good things will show up. It's all about learning what your detector is telling you. For me, trips out into my own yard taught me a lot about my detector features and quirks. Dig it all and goodies will follow!

[bearisme]

[NGE]

Someone up above said that you WILL me alot of good people here, well, that is NOT true! You WILL meet some SUPER people here, I have and it is The Greatest site out here, if you don't know what you have, just post it somewhere on this site. Albeit, there are a few puzzling items that are just, as well reburied, those are exceptions to the rule. Anyways, welcome to T-NET!
