New to Treasure Hunting

Hi, I just wanted to drop in the say thanks for the great posts I've read here. I have been lurking for awhile and can see this is a site worth joining, so I did.

My name is Dennis and I live in Oregon. I am in the process of learning all I can about this sport and want to make sure I know what I am buying before getting my first metal detector.

If there are any other Oregonians here, I hope to link up eventually.

Looking forward to my new journey into metal detecting and treasure hunting. Wish me luck. LOL
