NEW VIDEO- Crazy Fun + Civil War Finds @ Diggin' in VA XVII

Well, I have finally done something with the 2+ hours of footage we shot at Diggin IN Virginia 17 at Beauregard Farm (The Battle of Brandy Station & biggest Calvary battle of the War). The 3 of us from New England had a ball as you can tell, & we don't take ourselves too seriously. This is the lighter side of DIV & any paid relic hunt. The film is full a laughs, & outtakes, & I hope everyone enjoys it as much as we do (we are still laughing). We have no Civil War stuff up here, so we get giddy over fired bullets, & bust on each other most of the time. "Goodwill Hunting" the film should be called, & I know U guys down South like my Boston accent too....
There are also some BFL & "Yankee Tenderfoot" inside jokes at the end only DIV folks will understand & hopefully nobody takes offense to. On a serious note, I was able to get an interview with the finder of the find of the hunt, a mega-rare, valuable Kearny Cross medal (banner find for sure).

Crazy fun is right. I was trying to make my way to you guys where you were filming that day, but got in a mess of dropped bullets with that GPX 5000 I can't wait to get back that way in November. Tell Howard we all say hello, and we will be sporting green Goodwill tags for the new fashion trend he created.

what is the price and how do you get invited man i would love to go there i would be happy just finding broken stuff as long as it was cw broken stuff wow no WOW

The hunts are around 250.00 and it is by invite only. You need to apply at mytreasurespot.com in the "Diggin In Virginia" section. Any one can apply, but you need to do it pretty much the day of the sign up to get in. It is an experience you will never, ever forget....There is also a new hunt similar to the "D.I.V." that Tnet member David Wellingham "RelicHog" is putting on called the "Relic rescue"
http://www.relic-rescue.org/ I will be attending in October, and the hunt is on some prime Virginia Civil War camp sites in the same area as the D.I.V.'s are held. These sites are 1800s Confederate, and Union campsites. The cost of this hunt is 200.00, and is on October 28th, 29th, and 30th of this year. I'm sure you can get in still. PM me if you need more info.

Bill, welcome to tnet! I notice you are fairly new to the forum. Loved your "movie". You Yankees should try to come down to one of the Chisholm Trail Hunts we have in Kansas. You guys would fit right in with the Wild Bunch and you could go back home and verify that we don't still have slaves and plant cotton! Monty

we still grow tabaccie and spit in big brass buckets though and we even wear shoes into town during the summer months
