No targets at the beach and too hot to hit the park so I put together a video on making a test garden to help with deep target ID and recovery.

Hmmmmmmm, QUITE interesting indeed. To be candid, not really a ML fan. Prefer the simplicity & sheer depth of the Fisher line...especially the older CZ's. But...

Shouldn't a e-trac be getting more depth than that? Is your ground really hot?? My CZ-3D can pick-up a clad dime at 11" or 12", so, I'm astounded the e-trac had trouble with it at 9" :dontknow:

Just wanted to get your take the matter :read2:

A newly planted coin will not pick up very far in the ground. An old coin has a halo affect which looks bigger to a detector so that's the reason why it had problems at 9".
