Starting to drop into the 20's so figured I'd be nice and get the guys new suits.
Semi Dry 8/7mm. Now they get to dive in the snow.

I don't know man, I demo'd a dry suit for a dive in icy water. I only lasted 30 minutes and I couldn't feel my toes or fingers. Not to mention, I had to hold my reg in my mouth by hand because I had no feeling left in my face / mouth. I just don't get how people can dive for any legth of time in those conditions?

He's tough as nails. He's diving 5 hours a day now with less protection than this.
Some people can take it... others it just kills. He's tougher than me for sure.

Here are the gloves we starting using.
VERY nice.

I try and take of them, they work hard and are trust worthy.
Two things that can be hard to find.
On this claim / property we'll be running two dredges full-time next year.
I just got lucky and found a diver that doesn't mind the cold, so it extended our season.
We have a new dredge just like this one in dry dock waiting for the spring.
Then we have partner ops inside and outside the US.
It's going to be a busy year for sure.

I'd still have to have a hot water line!

Whew! When I saw the title of the thread I was worried that you'd be modeling the new suits for the pictures Doc! LOL

Nice do the use heaters??? Or just the suites?
Heaters are cheer than the suites! ...I'd rather dive with 3 to 5 mil suite and a heater than 7 to 8
Those thick suites just squeeze the life out of ya but when it get cold enought it's a must
