That town emerging from the lake bed would be a great place to MD but for the fact:
"Park rangers said it is illegal to damage or disturb archaeological sites.
It's also against state law to remove items from a state park."

Just saw some guy on the 10 PM news swinging a detector and scraping with a pick out there on the dry lake bed in front of everyone....bigger set then me.....

It amazes me that towns are purchased and demolished to make reservoir lakes, but then suddenly they become "protected archaeological sites". If they were so important, why were they torn down?
