Hi all. My name is Matt and I from So. Cal (thus the name. lol). I'm an avid backpacker, scotch drinker, home brewer, cigar enthusiast, and adventure seeker. Yep... that about sums me up. Over the last year I've found a love for sluicing and panning for gold in the mountains around here.

Anyways, I've been lurking on the site for a few months now and figured it was time to join up and hopefully contribute.
