NewB in NOVA {Northern Virginia

Since I was young
MD is something
I always wanted to try.

I have yet to purchase a MD
I have been reading reviews & watching vids
Trying to make the best decision

I would appreciate any suggestions
from seasoned Detectorists
on which would be good model to start with
but yet be advanced enough to grow with.

I tend to be of the belief
you get what you pay for
so I'm not trying to go cheap.
but @ the same time
if I come home with a CTX3030
the wife might not be so understanding

@ this point I am thinking AT Pro
many seem to have started with these
or have one in their stable.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated

Welcome aboard You will here of everyone's favorite m.d., the atp is not a bad machine at all. I have 1. But i like my whites dfx better. Its kind of like ford or chevy. They will all find metal, it's getting use to the one you decide on and it takes time--good luck
