Newbie - done 4 boxes so far....

I am in upstate NY.....and I work at a bank.....not a teller!! So far, i've searched 4 $500 boxes, and only got 2 40% halves.....kinda discouraging...is this typical, or do i just need to do more searching?

It is ALL luck of the draw combined with persistence; I've been weeks with literally nothing but empty boxes then get a few or more, my personal best Box was my first one 264, after that the next one was a few around 80 to 120 ,most have been under 30.

Though wife in another State has had plenty of poor boxes has also had 2 over 500 , and around 12 over 100, but she too has had plenty of skunks too. Combined we have done over 350 Boxes this year having started in March.

That's about normal....I have had one good box with about 30 silvers (mostly clad silver) out of about 30 boxes this year. The rest were lousy. I have much better luck with dimes, but I do it for fun only. ffd
