Just got a good deal on a BH Tracker IV. Figured it was a decent MD for a rookie.

I am a newbie as well, what I learned about metal detecting is that, knowing your machine, irregardless of what brand,
is key to good finds, each machine reacts differently in different situations. Pay attention to what it is telling you.
