Nothing to exciting, but SUPER EXCITING for me - went out to local park on lunch break (working from home today)....

Some pennies, a 2003 dime and on the 3rd dig a 1964 silver dime about 6" down. As soon as I found it I saw how light colored it was - so happy!!!!

3rd day out ever - been a long winter here in the north east!!!!

It has been a very long winter for us north easterners. You will never forget it either. I put my first silver in a case with a note where when and what machine i was using. First of many i hope. good luck

Nice!, hopefully first of many more

Ahhh... I remember that feeling well. Congrats on your first. GL&HH.

Congrats! You are off to a good start. It took me a few months before I found my first silver. It was also a 64 Rosie.

I was so happy when I found my first (and only :() that I was about ready to climb up the biggest tree in sight screaming "SILVER!!!!!!!!!!" I assume you felt similar lol, congrats on the first.:occasion14:

Nice silver! Found my first as well just 2 months ago after a couple years of hunting. It was a 1944 quarter. Still looking for more but nothing yet. Good luck!

Congrats, PepperDawg! My first was WAY back in 1980...and it was a 3-Rosie spill!!! Damn near wet myself! :tongue3:

Nice condition to. I think we might have another addicted digger !

Congrats on the 1st silver, we all remember our 1st. Good Luck and hope this is the 1st of many more.

Thanks all!!! Heading back out now that my 2 helpers are out of school for the day - ages 7 and 8

Just wait till you find a silver ring!!! Great job! My first silver was a 1919 dime... I didn't know it was silver at the time because I had no clue about coins.

Congrats! If you think you are addicted now just wait until your first civil war relic comes out of the ground :laughing7:

Nice! My first ever silver coin was also a 1964 Rosie. Good luck with more to come! :icon_thumleft:

The addiction takes hold well done

Woo hoo! That a baby! When I found my first one I dug it up and screamed internally. I actually put it back in the hole and pinged it again just so I can hear that Silver tone ring in my headphones.

Congrats on your first, been a while now, hope you have found more,

Dang, that dime is a good one... what with all these congratulatory posts on a 4 YEAR OLD thread!
I'm guessing you've found a few more since then!!

That is so hilarious. I laughed so hard when I scrolled back to the top to check the date.
