Newer Parks.......You Never Know

I kind of got a kick out of this find. The local park here isn't real old. I believe it dates back to the 50's or 60's. I go there on occasion when I need a clad fix or my daughter needs some more Hot Wheels from the sandbox. I was doing the open areas finding a bit of clad when I dug this beauty.

you never know where the " dirt " came from... I have found many unique items in the strangest places... mostly attributed to careless kids however.. lol

I don't believe there has been any dirt hauled in. There was a large amount of activity in this part of the state during the war. It doesn't surprise me for one to turn up there. I found this one right as it was getting too dark to see. I ought to go back and finish that area in case it wasn't just a lonely stray.
