Hello everyone,
I noticed a post about nic a date and wanted to start a topic to show a picture of the product. I just used it lately figuring what do I have to lose the nickels are dateless any ways. Well I was very pleased with the results. I practiced on several nickels before I got a perfect result with-out the brown acid spot on the coin, the key is to put the nic a date on the nickel and then count to 3 and then rinse it off. repeat untill the date can be seen. You will use a little more nic a date this way but it will no stain the coin. you can barely tell be the picture that it is an acid date nickel.
Thanks,
Jason
PS. I could not make the date out at all on this nickel prior to the nic a date, and now you can easily see the 1915.
