Took a day off and drove to a patented Smokey Permission. Was a little late to the party so missed out on the plates and Confederate buttons that popped out before I showed up, but did manage to scrape up the following keepers left behind by other folks, apparently. Nothing spectacular by itself, but one of the best few hours of detecting based on sheer quantity of quality modern, CW and Colonial keepers including 7 dropped minie balls, two flat buttons, a General Service Eagle Button, an antique brass balance scale weight (first for me), brass thimble, copper spoon piece, a '45 merc, a small iron buckle, an iron ring, and some modern clad. Thanks, as usual, Smokey, for the invite. It was great.

Used a Deus with 9" HF Coil Exclusively for these - see this post for further info on how I set it up...http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/d...-program-kills-cw-permission.html#post6150644

Now that's a great day of finds. Congrats on the wide variety of relics/coins.

Nice recoveries! The scale weight is cool. You probably would have found a handful of old silvers if you had used your Nox, just kidding. Great day, congrats!

Ha. I know. I've pulled seateds out of this site with the Nox. Swung both but the Deus had the hot hand this day.

We had four diggers. Three own both Deus and Equinox. Only one Equinox made it out for any length of time. That place is blasted odd. There are literally thousands upon thousands and more thousands of square nails all over the place, but not enough anything else to pinpoint a house! Drives the Nox's up a tree.
