Anyone have a nice knife form they would like to show?

This piece was laying on a table at a local farm retirement auction 3 miles from me a few years ago. It’s just over 4.5 inches long.
The home place was in a very desirable location right above a creek. I asked the owner about it, he said he found it nearby. Only artifact he had ever picked up. I suspect the place holds much more. It’s along the same creek most of the sites I hunt are on.
i couldn’t stay long enough for it to sell so I left a little cash with a friend and got it.

Just checking terminology....it's one of the challenges in coming up to speed in this hobby: lots of vocabulary, not terribly consistent.

Yep...nice artifact!

You are correct, some pieces have three of four names, depending on the locality.

This is my wifes' "Double-Screamer." Personal find/Klamath County, Orygun

I found it next to a guard-rail on a dirt bike path along overhead power lines in April 2009. The Blade edge is still razor sharp. All other edges are ground smooth and skin polished.ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1559091354.773785.webp

Nice to see a quartz knife in the mix .... that’s what most of mine are they don’t show flaking well or photo well but great artifacts nonetheless

Your lighting made for great pics of the flaking and smoothness of the back on that piece, good job.

A few more including my latest addition.

Another stellar blade there, Wels.

Very nice. Is that coral? How big is that?

I honestly don't know what kind of material it is, but I can read a ruler. It's a shade over 3" long by dang near 2" at the widest point.

An Early Archaic Biface.
I have shared this one before. It was found by my wife's grandmother.
