Nice Large Cent found In Western Mass

Found this 1803 Draped Bust View attachment Large Cent Front.bmp View attachment Large Cent Front.bmpLarge Cent in the Berkshire Hills of Massachusetts, trying to research the counterstamped marking on the coin but not having much luck. Any ideas?

Just think about all the stuff that coin has seen, before it took a long dirt nap. MAN! I love thinking about that stuff.

Congrats from Peru, Mass.!.......very nice detail on that one and the counterstamps just add more character to it.....but something I would never say if it were a Chain Cent, lol....
