Nice finds! That penny with the Masons stamp is too cool. I don't think I have seen one like it.

Hello, BandB1,

That is a pretty nice collection of finds there. I like the unusual looking knife. You are right about the penny
having a masonic emblem. When a guy is first joining the masons, some of the guys will give him a penny. it is a symbolic gesture to start his first degree in membership. Some of the penneys have the mason's stamp on it. Other's will have
a very small hole drilled through the top of the penny. They are usually passed around and change hands several times.
I have a couple of them now which I which I will be giving out shortly.

Have a good day and Happy Hunting.

Ray

Thanks all, it was kinda funny, didn't notice the stamp until after I had gotten home and was looking my coins over.
When I saw the stamp I was surprised, like WoW cool.

Good luck,
HH.

Thanks memorial, mojohand and Rookie 2, if that's you K.---- , weather( and circumstances) permitting, I plan on being at the park tomorrow
probably around noon or so, and probably near where you last saw me hunting and looking for my 50th silver since I
started detecting last july 12.

Good luck,
HH.
