What an experience this was. NOW I know how it feels to find something.
(Nothing substantial with my MD yet)

So here is the scoop,,, went to my bank on Monday to get a couple bucks to head to Home Depot for a few items.
Just happened to look at the coin thing and saw something in the reject chute.
So,,, after doing my thing with the teller I went over to get a better look.
(Wish I would have thought to get a pic of it in the chute) But I didn't wanna draw un necessary attention.

Here is what was in there.

Some "modern" US coins,, bunch of Canadian stuff. Half a dozen EUROS,,, some POUND coins,,2 tokens and a few coins that I have no idea of.

Now the question is,,, what to do with them?
The pounds are very heavy so I am figuring silver,, the Euros are yellow inside and silver outside,, (silver / copper ? )
A few of the rest are silver and the majority are plain copper or junk metal I believe.

When I get home I will put a list of what and how many. Will also include the dates I could see / read.

I believe all 1 Euro and 2 Euro coins are bimetals. They are not precious metals.

Thanks for the info,,, I had no idea.
I didn't see and "line" looking at the edges like with US coins.
So I assumed they were "solid".

I don't think you have any silver in the lot there. The English 1 Pound coins are modern and not silver, but worth about $1.50 a piece. If you go to England or a country that uses Euros, bring them and buy yourself a drink

Still some nice finds  My wife is English so we go there to visit the in-laws. You can send 'em to me and I'll buy myself a pint there and toast you :occasion14: :laughing7: Maybe I should start checking out those Coin Counting machines!

Doesn't everyone have a coin collection? Those would go right into mine. I love finds like that.
I had a teller that gave me a cup full of foreigns, they couldn't do anything with them.
