Went on a hunt to an old Homesite that we haven't been to before and found this lil jewel laying right on top of the bean stubble. Find of the hunt!!

Great bit of stone, really shows the flake scars, I’d be torn between preserving it as is and trying to see if I couldn’t reveal the material underneath.
 

I’m wondering what kind of flint that’s made from? IN is just next door but I don’t recognize it. A nice meaty biface no one bothered to finish.
 

TBH I'm not sure of the material. Common around here whatever it is but I'm sure this is a finished piece judging by the secondary flaking around the whole thing.
