Nice variety of toasted coins😡

Hunted the iron at an older permission for 3 hours today. Keepers were an 1869 IHP, slick copper and a rare for me complete tombac with shank. Also got the cool token from the Queens County Savings Bank, Flushing LI I then went to my new permission for 3 more hours and found another homesite out there. Got around a dozen flat buttons, KG I? copper, Coronet LC and my first flying eagle in a long time. Only silver was another war nickel on the way back to the truck

Jeeze thats amazing I went out for 4 hours today and got 1 wheat lol. Those are sopme cool coins to add to youir collection . I hope to find a copper someday. Great job toasted you do very well good to see my friend Tommy

Absolutely! I’ve been mainly fields, fields and fields... no one to bother me except the occasional rabbit or hawk expressing his displeasure of my presence. I was lucky to pull some clean coinage out of the latest field, very surprised. Good luck!! Ddf.

Back when I lived in town I was a plug cutter. Now I'm in the country digging in fields. Love the fields, you can do what you want. Not as many coins in the country though. Gary

Todd... you’re absolutely correct, kick the dirt back in the hole and keep on steppin’, and yes definitely not as many coins but when you DO pull one, it’s usually old... I don’t pull much clad out of the middle of a cornfield. Ddf
