Nickels

I keep getting conflicting answers. .......in regards to the nickels....which YEARS should we save due to the silver content.....Ive heard any year prior to 1964...ive also heard WWWII years......can some coin guru clarify for my pea brain?

U.S. Nickels from 1942 to 1945 had 35% silver. Some of the 1942 nickels did not contain silver. Only the ones with the mintmark above the Monticello contained silver. Also there is more silver in 2 silver nickels than in a silver dime.
