My buddy and I went on a late night hunt last night. I had a few places in mind that I passed by earlier in the week while working. They were construction sites. Went to the first one, and a dog in the neighborhood began barking incessantly, so we left. Don't want to keep the neighborhood awake. Went to the next spot, but conditions weren't exactly ideal, so we wound up at the park (our usual "backup spot"). We hunted for a few hours. I got a few bucks of clad, one wheat, and this well-worn barber dime. My hunting partner, "offcenter", found a wheat, an old padlock, and a handful of clad.
Anyway, it's nice to find a silver coin again...it's been several months. Seems like I can find silver fairly regularly for a while, then BAM, it stops alltogether. Then it takes a while, and the silver and good finds begin again for a while. Strange how it works that way.
Hope you like the barber. She looks like she's seen the insides of a great many pockets!
