Nine Diamonds???

[West Jersey Detecting]

I found my first ring of the year today while out with Con and his new Vision. We were hoping for deep, old copper, but all I came up with was this men's silver ring. Con nabbed an 1893 Indian Head. I am having the ring tested tomorrow to see if the diamonds are real.

My initial feeling is that they are not real. I haven't seen many diamonds set in Sterling, although it is a new trend now. I will keep you all posted.

Diamonds set is silver DOES happen.
Obviously, not as common as the gold settings but still very possible.

Well the results are in. They are nine shiny, glittering CZs! It is still a good find for me. I don't find much jewelry, sticking instead to the colonial woods.
