Hi Everyone

Since the weather was pretty good this week. I decide to go to take a friend out who had never done any metal detecting. Well we went out Tues the weather was warm and the water like a mirror. He didn't find anything but trash, while I found a 1975 dime. We than decide to go out again on Thurs. Boy what a difference a couple of days makes. The water was choppy and the wind was whipping the sand around so that you could only walk with the wind at your back. Again nothing to really to write about but even a couple of bad days at the beach sure is better than a couple of good days at work. My friend is now hooked, and wants to know when we are going out again. I'm hoping for next week, at a different location. Maybe will go futher south.

Well at least with the trash we collected, the beach is a little cleaner.

Way to go Roxy. I was on several NJ beaches Thursday and it was a trip. Could not hunt when the gusts were going. I was getting sand blasted from every angle.

If your friend still likes detecting after that fiasco, he/she is hooked !
